Gap-fill exercise

This exercise contains several e-mails written to someone who is becoming a friend. Some grammar and vocabulary mistakes have been highlighted with an *asterisk* on either side of them. They are then followed by a gap for you to fill in. If the word should be deleted the answer is “Delete”.

Fill in all the gaps, and then press, "Check" to check your answers. Use the "Hint" button to get a free letter if an answer is giving you trouble. You can also click on the "[?]" button to get a clue. Sometimes this button gives you access to a weblink to a page on the internet where you can get more information to help you.

Note that you will lose points if you ask for hints or clues! You do not lose points if you click on a "Click here for comment" link. These comments just point out additional points about the texts.

Enjoy!
